Friends of Community Fitness is possible entirely because of donations from community businesses and private citizens. Everything, from the sign out front, to the carpet tiles on the floors are the product of many hours of volunteer labor and financial donations. This is, indeed, a community center. When you become a member you are joining a nonprofit club dedicated to the health of our community by bettering the health of the individuals who reside in it.
Our community is blessed with a fitness and community center, unique in its origins and vital to the citizens who participate in its varied programs.
Friends of Community Fitness, established in 2003 as a non-profit 501©3 offers 24/7 access (over 18) with a computerized magnetic card security lock which tracks our members use of the facility. Our success is possible because of a combination of collaborations between business, non-profits and caring individuals who have volunteered their time and money for a project they feel is beneficial to the health and well being of our community.
