Gayle Worden, Executive Director
AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness
Instructor, AFAA Weight room and Resistance Trainer and Nutritional Consultant, NESTA Sport
Yoga Instructor, Past ISCA Kickboxing Team Trainer, Black Belt Shaolin Kung Fu and
Hapkido.
Gayle began her fitness certifications in 1989, a
partial list is above. In 1996 she opened VitalityFitnessCenter in Guilford
. After selling the center in 2001 she was hired by the new owners to manage it. When Vitality
closed in 2003 due to the parent company closing, she helped coordinate a group to organize a 501c3
fitness and community center, Community Fitness, which opened in Sept. of that same
year. Hired by their board of directors after
volunteering her services for several months, Gayle remains Executive Director today. With a small
staff and a hardy group of dedicated volunteers Community Fitness continues to provide a unique and
vital service to the So. PiscataquisCounty community.

Nancy Lappert Owner of Will o’ the Wisp manufacturing soaps,
lotion and massage oils. Nancy keeps our Center clean and tidy & serves on our fundraising
committee, Nancy also assists by staffing the office whenever needed.

Wendy McKenney:
Wendy is a founding
member of Community Fitness and presently serves as President of the Board. She teaches TNT class on
Monday nights at 7 and is one of our ComFit Trainers. Wendy is also Purchasing Director for Hardwood
Products Puritan Medical Products in Guilford. She and her husband Kyle and two sons
reside in Parkman. |

Kimberly
Moore Kimberly is one of the founding members of Community Fitness, a NDEITA
certified group fitness instructor, and very active in the business/community of Piscataquis County. She teaches the 8 AM Interval Cardio/Muscle class on Mon. &
Thurs. Kimberly is formerly Key Bank Branch Manager in Guilford, has a Bachelors in Business Administration, and is the very busy
mom of 16 year old twins, Mark & Erik. |

Terri Kelley
Palin:
Terri is a mixed media artist who lives and creates in Sangervile, Maine. Her personal interests
in Woman’s Wellness influence her art and lead her to begin working in the fitness industry about four
years ago. Prior to its closing, Terri worked as a Curves Circuit Trainer in Dover-Foxcroft for three
years, is now involved with a woman’s fitness facility in Milo and teaches Fitness Plus classes at
Community Fitness. Terri believes her personal passion and experiences with creativity, journaling,
meditation, movement and working with affirmations, guides her in encouraging other woman to make
positive and empowering choices in their lives and over all wellness.

Val Spizuoco:
Val teaches a dynamic TNT class on
Wednesday nights at 7 pm and team teaches with Wendy on Thursday nights. Val has taught classes
for many years while participating in community volunteer work, and raising four children;
Multitasking in life and in her fitness classes! |
