All fitness and yoga club classes are included with center membership.
A social membership fee as well as instructor fee is required for dance and tai chi classes.
 

Class Descriptions in Alphabetic Order:

Beginner Fitness (Fitness Fun): Exactly what the name suggests!

Card Class: We take a deck of regular playing cards. Each suit represents a different exercise. For example, Clubs might be push ups, Hearts “cardio”, Spades lunges, and Diamonds pull ups. Flip a card, and do whatever quantity the # says or the specific exercise. Warm up, abs, cool down stretch. Every class will be different!

Com F.I.T: Focused Interval Training. Whether you are a high impact or low impact fan, you control the intensity of the class. An interval training mix of strength, cardio, core, balance & flexibility is sure to be a challenge.

Dance Classes are Specialty Classes and involve a fee. Please call 876-4813 for more information.

Enhanced Fitness: Designed for 55 and over. This evidence based program provides cardio, strength training, balance, and flexibility training. Participants must be able to walk back and forth across the fitness room.

High Energy Step: This class uses step benches for cardio and endurance training and also includes resistance training w/a variety of tools.

Hula Hooping: Have fun while toning your core, legs, and arms with Hula Hoops!

Tai Chi: Specialty Class taught by Wayne Ripley. $5. fee per visit. Call 717-0271

Total Body TNT: Tight & Tone the entire body, weights, tubes, cardio!

MSROM: Muscular Strength Range of Motion through Silver Sneakers. Senior class designed so participants can do the entire class seated if necessary. Exercises to enhance strength, endurance, and flexibility. Approx. 60 minutes.

Weight Room Circuit: A class held in the weight room. Move from exercise station to station, keeping your pulse elevated and your muscles pumping. Enhances strength, endurance & burns calories. A Certified Personal Trainer is your instructor.

Yoga: A fairly vigorous class for the beginner to intermediate participant. Attention to the union of movement with the breath. Enhance strength, endurance, balance, flexibility, and focus. Class ends with a nice meditation.

Yogastretch, a Silver Sneakers Program is a group exercise class designed for those who have expressed desire for more flexibility, balance, muscular endurance and mind-body training. Yogastretch is appropriate for "every body". All of the poses and breathing exercises may be performed either seated or standing.

These packages must be paid in full in advance. Refunds are available if you cannot continue your package.

All group participants must be of similar abilities & have similar goals. No more than 4 to a group.
